Click here for a free trial download of MacX Video Converter Pro

This is a brief overview and tutorial video over the new version of MacX Video Converter Pro. This is a premium application for the Mac from www.macxdvd.com. If you’re a Mac user and you’re looking to convert video files to to other video file formats or to audio file formats, if you want to record your Mac screen, if you want to create photo slideshows, then this program is for you. You can try it out for free if you click on the link at the top of this video description. That will start an instant download so you can install it and try it out for free. If you like it you can register for the full version later. If you don’t like it you can delete it, but I’m pretty sure you’re going to like this application.

MacX Video Converter Pro 4.0 Features

Let’s quickly look at the main features: HD video converter, fast speed, high quality, records your iSight camera, records your Mac screen so you can make a screencast, or you can remove DRM from videos. It has a photo slideshow maker. You can edit the video and audio files that you’re going to convert. You can trim them, crop them, even add watermarks, and obviously you can convert any video file to an iPhone, iPad, or iPod compatible format. So without further ado let’s open this app up and play with it. Are you excited as I am?

Here’s the home screen of Mac X Video Converter Pro 4.0. On the top menu you can choose from any of the features that we just went over: the video converter, photo slideshow, download YouTube videos, record your iSight, record your Mac screen, and the trash icon clears out all the jobs that are in your queue. Click the first button to add the videos that you want to convert. Let’s say I have an FLV file that I want to convert on my desktop. I’ll just choose that. Now here’s the output profile window. This is where you choose the file format that you want to convert your video to. I have an FLV video, and let’s say I want to convert it to MP3. I can choose “To Music” MP3 recommended. If I want to convert it to an iPhone video file format I can choose Apple device then iPhone video and choose my iPhone model (same with iPad & iPod). You can convert MP4, MP3, FLV, AVI, WMV, MPEG, MPG, MOV, etc. You can do all kinds of stuff, even convert videos to a compatible format for a Microsoft device, Android tablet, Android smartphone, YouTube video, etc.

So let’s just say I want to convert this FLV file to an MP4 video file so I can put it into iTunes. I’ll just choose Mac general video. MP4 video is automatically selected, the recommended option then click Done. The video is now in the queue ready to be converted. If you click Edit you can see all the editing options that you have. You can adjust the volume, subtitles, trim it down. You can adjust the start and end time. You can crop and expand it, and you can even add a text or image watermark. That’s pretty cool. Click Done.

If you have multiple videos that you want to convert you can add more in the queue. Let’s say I want to convert the FLV file to an MP3 file. I can add it again and click the Settings button and change it to MP3. Alright so now I’m converting FLV to MP4 and FLV to MP3. So I’ll just hit Run, and the conversions will start.

When the conversions are complete the window will pop up and it will have your final converted videos in a folder on your Mac. I can add those into iTunes now and put those on my iPhone, iPod, or iPad. You can do that with other devices as well. That’s the main feature of Mac X Video Converter Pro, but it does have extra features as well like we went over earlier. You can make a photo slideshow, download YouTube videos, record your iSight camera, and record your Mac screen. So as you can see this is a very powerful and useful application. If you’re a Mac user and you want to be able to convert any video file, edit and trim converted videos, record your Mac screen, and do all kinds of other cool stuff then this is definitely an app to have. Again the link is at the top of this description. You can click that, and it’ll start an instant download where you can download and try it out for free!

How to Put Movies on iPhone

How to Put Movies on iPhone – Copy DVD Movies to Your iPhone

Click here for Windows Download (WinX DVD Ripper Platinum Free Trial)
Click here for Mac Download (Mac X DVD Ripper Pro Free Trial)

In this video I’ll show you how to put movies on your iPhone. Instead of spending a bunch of money on the iTunes store and buying movies through iTunes, you can actually copy any movie from any DVD onto iTunes and then sync it to your iPhone. That’s what I’m going to show you how to do today.

To do this you’ll be using DVD copy software from a company called Digiarty. They make the best DVD copy software out there. It’s by far my favorite – very easy to use, fast, and high quality. The software is available for Windows and Mac. The first thing you want to do is click the link at the top of this description. If you’re a Windows user click the Windows download link. If you’re a Mac user click the Mac download link. That link will start an instant download of this program. Download and install the application from the link above, and you’ll be able to try it out for free. If you like it you can register for the full version right from the program itself and at a special discount.

Once you have this application installed, it’ll be called MacX DVD Ripper Pro for Mac users. It’ll be called WinX DVD Ripper Platinum for Windows users, but they both work exactly the same so you can follow along. Next, insert the DVD movie that you want to put on your iPhone into your computer’s DVD drive. Then click the DVD button at the top left of the application. The source DVD disc window will pop up, and you should see your movie’s title in the box then click OK. Once it loads your DVD movie you’ll see the output profile window pop up. Since we’re putting the movie on an iPhone you’ll choose Apple device then choose iPhone video, and then choose whatever iPhone model you have that you’re going to put the movie on.

It can put movies on any iPhone model: 3GS, 4, 4S & 5. Choose the “Recommended” option for your iPhone model then click Done. The program automatically selects the main movie file. You can see that Title 1 is selected. Go towards the bottom, and you’ll see a destination folder option. This is the folder where you’re going to copy the movie. If you click Browse you can choose any folder where you want to save the movie then click Open. Now all you have to do is click the Run button in the bottom right, and it will start copying the movie to your computer.

Once the copy is complete it shows up in the destination folder. In order to put the movie on your iPhone you have to put it into iTunes first. Open iTunes then go back to the folder that has the movie and drag-and-drop the video file into iTunes. The movie will be copied into iTunes, and you can verify it by going into iTunes into the Movies section. Finally, sync your iPhone with iTunes by plugging your iPhone into your computer via the USB cable. Once your iPhone shows up in iTunes click on it. Go to the top and click on Movies, and check the checkbox to “Sync Movies” then click Apply. The movie will be copied to your iPhone, and you’ll be able to watch it on your iPhone from the Videos app. That, my friends, is how to copy movies on your iPhone – the absolute best way to do it. Go ahead and give that a try. Enjoy having your favorite movies on your iPhone!

How to Free Up Space on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

iOS Quick Tip: How to Free Up Space on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

Here’s a quick tip for all you iOS users out there. This is how to free up space on an iPhone, iPod, or iPad – instantaneously. So if you ever find yourself running low on storage space on your iOS device, have no fear. It’s really easy to free up space. First go into your Settings, then tap General, and then go to your Usage. Here it’ll populate a list of all the apps that you have installed on your iOS device and how much space each app is taking up. It’s listed by putting the app that uses the most space on top. Music is listed first on mine because it’s using up the most.

What you want to do here on this list is find apps that you can delete then immediately reinstall to free up a lot of space. For example, I’m not going to delete my music or podcasts, but I can delete Facebook because it’s using up 147 unnecessary megabytes of data. The original app size is only 57 MB, which means it’s using up 147 MB of cached files. To free up this space, hit Delete App then Delete App again, and it frees up 150 MB (on mine). So go through your apps and look for apps that are taking up at least 100 MB of storage space.

Almost all the social networking sites are big culprits of this. They take up a ton of unnecessary space. Each time you look at your Instagram feed it saves huge cache files to your device. The app size originally is only 21 MB so it’s taking up 134 MB of unnecessary space on my iPhone. I can delete this app just like with Facebook. Vine does it bad too. It’s taking up 100 MB so I’ll delete that app as well.

Once you delete those apps, all you have to do is go back into your App Store and reinstall those apps that you just deleted. They will download and reinstall in the same exact location that they were before. So if you had it in a folder it’ll go back into that folder, and you won’t lose any of the app settings that you had. That is how to free up space on an iPhone, iPod, or iPad. Go ahead and try that out, and let me know how much space you freed up using that method.

How to Transfer Music from an iPod, iPhone, or iPad to Any Windows Computer

Click here to download Leawo iTransfer (Free trial; $19.95 for full version)

What if your computer suddenly crashed and you lost everything in your computer’s iTunes library? But all your music was still on your device (your iPhone, iPod, or iPad) and now you need to transfer all the music from your device back to your computer. This is how to do just that! In this tutorial I’ll show you how to transfer music from an iPod, iPhone, or iPad to your computer. The program is for Windows, and it is called Leawo iTransfer. You can start a free download by clicking the link at the top of this description. It doesn’t just transfer music either. It transfers photos, videos, apps, PDF documents, and songs – everything. The first thing you want to do is make sure you have iTunes installed.

Once iTunes is installed on your computer, the next thing you want to do is click the link above to start a free instant download of Leawo iTransfer. This is the program that you’ll use to transfer all the music from your iOS device back to your computer. Once the download is complete, install iTransfer and open it from your Desktop. The free trial version will let you transfer up to 100 files from your iPod, iPhone, or iPad to your computer. So if you only have 100 files to transfer then you can use this totally for free. If you have more than 100 files you can purchase a registration code that will give you unlimited transfers.

The next step is to connect your iPhone, iPod, or iPad to your computer using the USB cable. Once your device is connected if iTunes comes up just minimize it. Now in the iTransfer program you should see your device in the left hand side column so click on your device. Now you can transfer the music from your iPod, iPhone, or iPad to your computer very easily. Click on the Music section. All the songs are selected by default so if you want to transfer all songs to your computer’s iTunes library just click the “Transfer” button. It shows a list of all the songs that are going to transfer. If you see iTunes in the list you can click “Transfer Now”, but if you don’t see iTunes you can click the “Save To Folder” button and click “Change”.

Since you already have iTunes installed you can save it to a special folder called Automatically Add to iTunes which will automatically transfer and add the songs to iTunes once you transfer them to your computer. Here’s how to get to that folder. Click your profile name’s folder, then My Music, then iTunes, then iTunes Media, and the Automatically Add to iTunes folder should be in there. Choose that folder and click OK. You don’t have to save your files to that folder. If you want to choose another folder you can just choose whatever folder you want, but I just like to save it there because it makes the process a bit easier. Once you have your folder selected that you want to transfer the music to, click “Transfer Now”. When the transfer is complete you can open iTunes. If you saved your songs to the Automatically Add to iTunes folder they will automatically be in iTunes. If you saved it to another folder just go to that folder, and your songs will be there. That’s how to transfer music from an iPhone, iPod, or iPad to your computer. It’s very easy to do with Leawo iTransfer.

How to copy a DVD on a Mac – Clone & Burn any DVD

Click here to download and try DVD Fab for free!

This tutorial video will show you how to copy a DVD on a Mac using DVD Fab. Click the link at the beginning of this description to go straight to the DVD Fab download page. You can click the Apple icon since we’re doing it on a Mac and then click the Download button. You can try out all the DVD Fab applications for free with this one single download. If you want to register for the full copy you’ll be able to do it at a special discount. Go ahead and download and install it on your Mac. When the install is complete you can start it up from your desktop by double clicking on the DVD Fab icon.

In this video we’ll be utilizing the DVD Copy feature of DVD Fab so when the applications list pops up you’ll choose DVD Copy. Next, insert a DVD movie into your DVD drive. It’ll analyze it and then it will show up in the DVD Fab screen. There are a few different options that you can choose from when you want to copy a DVD on your Mac using DVD Fab. You can choose Main Movie if you just want to copy the movie itself without any of the DVD menus, scene selections, bonuses, etc. I’m going to show you how to use the full disc option so you can copy the DVD on your Mac and then burn the DVD to a DVD-R or DVD-RW. This essentially makes an exact copy of any DVD movie.

So choose the full disc option then go down to the Output section and make sure that it’s set to DVD 5 so you can copy it to a normal DVD-R or DVD-RW blank disc. If you plan on copying and burning the DVD immediately to a blank disc you can leave this as the default, as the Mac DVD drive. Or if you plan on saving the DVD on your Mac as well as burning it onto a blank DVD disc later, you can change it to a folder and save it to that folder then burn it. Next, click Start and it will copy the DVD on your Mac. Once the copy is finished we can burn it to a blank DVD disc

The reason I like DVD Fab so much when it comes to copying DVDs is because it always stays up to date so it can copy any DVD movie, it compresses the DVD so you can burn it onto a normal DVD-R or DVD-RW disc, it’s very fast, and it keeps the quality high. Once the copy is complete, insert a blank DVD into your DVD drive. It should say, “Detecting writable media” then it will automatically recognize your blank DVD, and it will start the burning process. It will burn the DVD movie that you just copied onto that blank DVD. Okay when the burn is complete you’ll have an exact duplicate copy of your DVD. Easy!

You can copy any DVD movie with this application: movies, TV shows, etc. Now you can make perfect backups of all your DVDs so you don’t have to worry about losing your precious DVD collection. Make sure you go ahead and register for the full unlimited version of this application. It’s definitely worth it, and when you register you’ll be able to get that coupon code for a special discount. It doesn’t just do DVD copies either. It has a Ripper as well so you can copy any DVD movie to a video file and put it on an iPad, iPhone, Android smartphone & tablet, etc. Enjoy!
