How to Install Multiple Mac Apps Automatically

GetMacApps.com

Transcript:

What’s up? It’s Andy with MyTechMethods. In this video I’ll be showing you how to install multiple Mac apps at once automatically using a free web app. So if you’re a Mac user and you want to install multiple apps at once, and you want to save a lot of time, a lot of effort, this website will help you out. It’s called GetMacApps.com and it lists a bunch of the most popular free Mac Apps on here, and you can go down here and just select any app that you want to install. You can select all of them if you want to and then once you select all the apps that you want to install on your Mac you just click this button called Install These. And the instructions for this website are right here on the left if you want to just follow those but for this video I’ll just show you how to do it really quickly. So if you go through here select all the ones that you want, I’m just going to select an app that I don’t have on my system currently which is, I don’t have Audacity so I’ll just select that. But you like I said you can select all the apps that you want and then click this little button here and it’ll give you this code here. What you want to do is just copy this code then open up terminal on your Mac. Okay now once you’re in terminal you’re just gonna paste that code into your terminal that you just copied and then hit enter. It’s going to install all the apps you selected in the background automatically, and you can go get your coffee, get your caffeine in for the day, come back and it’ll be done. The time it takes will depend on how many apps you selected to install. This one went pretty quickly because it was only one app so there you go it’s done. And then once I close Terminal out I can go and search for my apps and there it is. Audacity has been installed and there it is. So that is an awesome website for Mac users. Bookmark that. It’s called GetMacApps.com. It’ll definitely come in handy if you get a new Mac or you had to reinstall for some reason. You can just reinstall all those apps all at once automatically. I hope this was helpful to you. If you’re a Windows user as well you can use a similar site called Ninite.com which is really awesome. It does the same thing for Windows. It’s probably is a little easier actually so check that out. I did a video on that. You can click that little annotation. It’ll take you to that video if you’re a Windows user. Make sure you give this video a thumbs-up and subscribe to my channel. Thank you so much for watching. Keep having fun out there and I will talk to you later.

Audio Technica ATR2100 USB/XLR Microphone Review

Audio Technica ATR2100 Microphone Review & Test

You know me, I’m always looking for the best deal on the best quality products, and this is dang near the best USB/XLR microphone you can get for such a low price. This is my review and test of the Audio Technica ATR2100 microphone. As always the link to the best price on Amazon for this mic will be in the description below. In the box you have the ATR2100 microphone, a mini tripod desk stand, a threaded stand clamp, a USB cable, and an XLR cable.

Let’s do a quick overview of the mic then we’ll do a sound quality test comparison. This is a dynamic microphone that is a great option for people who want to do voiceovers, podcasts, or even singing. Its versatility and build quality are outstanding. It’s made of a nice looking and durable silver metal. It can either be held in the hand or put in the clamp and attached to any standard mic stand. It is one of the few microphones that has both USB and XLR connections. This is super convenient because it can be plugged into any computer (Windows or Mac) via the USB connection and start recording right away. Then if you ever upgrade to a mixer or need to use it on any other analog equipment you can use the XLR connection and not have to purchase a new mic.

Some of the key features include the built-in headphone jack for live audio monitoring, a low mass diaphragm providing excellent frequency response, and the cardioid pattern reduces pickup of unwanted sound in the background. All of these qualities result in a smooth high-quality sound recording. So far the audio in this video has been recorded with the ATR2100 mic so now I want to show you a comparison between the ATR2100 and my webcam’s microphone. I’m now recording with my webcam’s mic and you can probably already tell a huge difference in quality. Let’s go ahead and switch back to the ATR2100.

Now I’m back on the ATR2100, thank goodness. One thing I would recommend when you order the this mic is to also get this foam wind screen. It’s only a couple dollars, and I’ll leave a link to this in the description as well. This slips right onto the ATR2100 mic and will improve the recording quality by eliminating the pops from your P’s and S’s. so you can get a clean crisp audio recoding every time. So that is my review and test of the Audio Technica ATR2100 microphone. Obviously one of the best budget microphones, and arguably one of the best microphones overall. Again the link to the best price on Amazon will be in the description below. Make sure you give this video a thumbs up if it helped you out, and subscribe to my channel for more tech reviews. Thanks for watching. Keep having fun out there, and I’ll talk to you later.

Best over ear headphones under $150
Audio Technica ATH-M50 review
Click here to buy on Amazon

This is my review of the Audio Technica ATH M50 headphones – the best over ear headphones for the money. So before you go out and drop this month’s rent on a pair of Beats headphones, you’ll want to consider buying these instead. So as always, the link to the best price on Amazon is in the description below. Why are these the best headphones for the money? Well currently they are the #1 Best Seller for DJ Headphones on Amazon and you can get a pair for just over $100, and at such a low price you get amazing sound quality, comfort, portability, and design. The M50’s come in 3 colors: black, white, and this limited edition red. First off, the most important aspect is the sound quality which is nearly flawless. They have a super clear and crisp audio that exemplifies a very natural sound. The bass is not overbearing, and the mids and highs are smooth. They do a great job at blocking external noise as well so they are good in the noise cancelling department. They are very comfortable, with a good bit of padding on the top and soft cushioning on the ear cups as well. So you can wear them for an extended period of time without worrying about them getting uncomfortable. The build quality is also fantastic, and they are extremely adjustable. You can adjust them to fit any head size or shape, shout out to Arnold. They excel in portability as well with the collapse-and-fold feature, and they also come with a nice carrying pouch which is pretty convenient. They come with a coiled or straight cable, whichever you prefer. The cable has a 1/4″ adapter which can be unscrewed to reveal the regular 3.5mm connector that can be plugged into all the common headphone jacks found on smartphones and computers. So if you’re looking for some affordable high quality over ear headphones for any type of audio and video editing or even just casual music listening then the Audio Technica ATH M50’s are a must-have. Again the link to buy these at the best price will be in the description below. If this video was helpful please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel. My name is Andy, thank you so much for watching. Keep having fun out there and I will talk to you later.
