CaseCrown Monaco Stripes Case Review for iPhone 5/5s

This is my video review of the CaseCrown Monaco Stripes case for the iPhone 5s & iPhone 5. This is a very affordable case. You can currently get it on Amazon for just a few dollars, and it’s a decent case for the money. It’s made of polycarbonate so it is pretty durable. It handles small to medium drops pretty well. It has a glossy finish on the inside, and on the outside it’s actually this nice feeling rubber matte. It feels really good in the hands, and it does offer some pretty good protection. It has an easy installation, just pops right on there.

Now let me take you on a tour of this case. This is the front, and it does offer a little bit of the lay-on-the-table surface protection for the screen. It’s not much though, so I wouldn’t trust it too far. Here’s the bottom. It does have cut-outs for the speakers, lightning connector, and microphone. The cut-outs on this case are big and open. It doesn’t have the top lining at the top that most cases do. This actually has just a whole open space for the connections. On the left side it has the Case Crown logo and the big open cut-out for the volume buttons and vibrate button. On the top it has another big cut-out for the power button. There is no cut-out on the right side.

This case offers pretty good overall protection. I was pretty pleased with this case other than the fact I am not a big fan of the stripes on the back. But hey if you like colors and you want to spice up your iPhone just a little bit and you don’t care about hiding the back (I personally am a fan of transparent backs) this is probably a good case to purchase. It’s cheap, and it offers decent protection for the price. The link to this case on Amazon will be above. Hope you enjoyed the review!

How To Jailbreak iOS 7 Untethered with Evasi0n (iPhone, iPad, iPod)

This video shows you how to jailbreak iOS 7 on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod. The first step is to connect your device (your iPhone, iPad, or iPod) to your computer, and when iTunes opens select “Back Up Now” to make a backup of your device. It’ll only take a few minutes. Step number two is to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to the latest iOS version (during this video it’s 7.0.4). While it’s connected to iTunes click the “Restore” button. As long as you just made that successful backup you can click “Restore and Update” and it’ll restore to the latest version of iOS so you can do the jailbreak. Restore your device from the most recent backup that you just did.

Next, go on your device and disable any passcode lock that you have on it if you have one. You can re-enable it once you’re done with the jailbreak. After you’ve disabled your passcode lock, go on your computer and visit evasi0n.com and download the jailbreak application for your operating system, Mac or Windows. Click the Download button to download it to your computer then double-click the application to run it. Make sure that your iPad, iPhone, or iPod version is supported by the jailbreak.

If you don’t already have your device connected to your computer go ahead and do that right now. Let it sync to iTunes, and then once it’s connected click the jailbreak button. The jailbreak process will begin, and it will take a few minutes to complete. During the jailbreak process your device will reboot several times. When it says to, continue by unlocking your device and tap the new evasion 7 icon. It’ll come up and go right back down and reboot. The device will reboot one last time, and evasi0n says that it’s done. After the final reboot you will see evasion complete some final tasks while it completes the jailbreak.

Now you can go into your device and go to the last page and you should see Cydia. Tap on it to open it. It’ll prepare the file system. Once your device re-springs it’ll come back up. Go back into Cydia one last time then choose User. Complete any upgrades if available. Your iOS 7 device is now jailbroken! You can go into Cydia and start adding all the tweaks and apps that you want. Enjoy!

Thinnest iPhone Case? CaseCrown MN Review for iPhone 5/5s

Thinnest iPhone 5/5s Case? CaseCrown MN Review!

This is my review of the CaseCrown MN iPhone 5/5s case. This is a very cheap case that you can get for only a few dollars on Amazon. This case is more like a sleeve because its main feature is how thin it is. It comes in at 0.35mm thin. It is super thin, almost literally paper thin. It really only provides protection from scratches, not drops. It’s not made to be a very protective case that protects against hard falls. This case comes in 5 different colors. I have the gray version so I’ll put it on my iPhone 5s right now to show you what it looks like.

It goes on very easily and just snaps right on the iPhone. You can see it has a transparent look to it which looks really nice on my space gray iPhone 5s. I prefer cases that have a transparent back because I like to see the back of the iPhone, and this is a really nice looking case. Again, this is an extremely slim case that only offers scratch protection. It’s not really made to be durable so this case is perfect for people who don’t want to add bulk to their iPhone and who are very careful with their iPhone. It offers minimum protection that you need for scratches to keep your iPhone looking new.

It has nice precise cutouts for the camera, lightning connector, headphone jack, volume buttons, vibrate switch, and power button. This case offers scratch protection for the sides and back but not the front. It doesn’t have lay-on-the-table protection so you can’t really lay it on the table and have protection from screen scratches. However, it does offer decent protection for the rest of the iPhone. If you’re searching for a nice looking slim case that protects against scratches but is not very rugged. You don’t want to add bulk or you’re not worried about very good protection against drops or falls, this is a pretty nice case to buy for how cheap it is. It’s only a few dollars, and you get that scratch protection to keep your iPhone looking new.

CaseCrown Bold Standby Pro iPad Mini Case Review

One of the best iPad Mini cases. Highly recommended!

This is my review of the CaseCrown Bold Standby Pro iPad Mini case. This is a premium quality case that is compatible with the iPad Mini & iPad Mini with Retina Display. This case has a nice synthetic leather exterior, and it’s actually water resistant which is pretty cool. When you first open the case up you notice it does have magnetic covers built-in where the front cover just snaps right on if you close the case. It automatically puts the iPad Mini to sleep when you close the case, and it automatically wakes it up when you open it.

The inside has a nice microfiber soft interior and feels really nice. It also has an elastic nylon band for secure grip. As you can see the case does have magnets on the back as well. So the front flap snaps right on to the back when you have it open. This case offers very good protection and is very durable. It keeps your iPad Mini secure because it has a velcro connection on the inside so it doesn’t fall out.

Some more awesome features that this case has are the viewing and typing angles. You can stand the iPad Mini up so you can view or type on it easily. The front flap slides right into the clip on the back, and it holds it in there. This allows you to keep your iPad Mini in a certain position for viewing and typing. This is great for typing long notes and watching videos.

It has cut-outs for all the connections, speakers, and buttons. I did find it slightly difficult to switch the vibrate and volume buttons because of how much protection it offers on the sides, but it’s something that you can get used to. Also I like the red color, but sometimes it can look kind of pinkish in certain lights. Overall this is a fantastic case. It’s very nice and high quality. I recommend this for any iPad Mini owner who wants a good looking case with strong protection.

Too Cheap for Spotify? Try This Free Music Streaming App

Free Music Streaming App (Spotify Alternative)

Musi (iOS – Free)

If you’re too cheap or lazy to pay for Spotify then there’s an app for that. Musi is a free app for the iPhone, iPad, or iPod. Musi basically turns YouTube into a music streaming app. Any video on YouTube can be streamed like an MP3 song with this app. Once you have the app, open it up, and tap the plus sign. This will take you to a YouTube search screen. It also has 4 categories: Most liked, Trending, Our picks, and Top charts. Most likely you’re just going to be using the search function here. Once you search for your artist or song name it will show you the results just like YouTube would show them on your computer.

If you want to add a song just tap on it. It gives you a little preview, and you can play the video to make sure that’s the correct song that you want to add. You can also see the video description as well. If you want to add it just tap “Add Song”. What that does is it adds it to your library. It doesn’t download it, but it just adds it to your library like a queue. When you go back, you should now see the song in your music library.

You can play all the songs in your library. It will stream them like a music streaming service, but it’s streaming them from YouTube and for free, Probably the best feature about this app is the fact that you can play the songs while the device is locked and while you’re closed out of the app. The songs and playlists do continue to play when you lock the device on this app. That’s why love it especially since it’s free. It’s like having an on-demand music streaming service, and it definitely comes in handy when you’re working out.

You can also create playlists. The cool thing is some people upload entire albums into one YouTube video. Go ahead and take advantage of all those people out there who are uploading copyrighted material to YouTube. Also you can change the streaming quality options. If you’re on Wi-Fi you can set it to where it will stream the highest quality version of the song by tapping the Concert quality button. If you’re streaming over 3G you probably just want to keep it on Basement which is the lowest quality but is the fastest and won’t use up all your data from your data plan. So if you’re looking for a free music streaming app this is definitely the app to get. It’s called Musi, and it’s free in the Apple App Store. Pass this along to all your friends, and they will definitely love you for it.
