Are you a complete Mac beginner and you want to know how to copy and paste on a Mac and how to cut and paste on a Mac? Well it’s really easy to do, but a lot of people don’t know how to do it. I get this question a lot. I’m going to show you how to do it real quick. The first way to do it is to just use your mouse. Obviously just right-click on whatever you want to copy then choose Copy then go to your destination and right-click and Paste that item. That’s how to use your mouse to copy and paste on a Mac. I’ll go ahead and move that to the trash real quick. Now I’m going to show you how to use the keyboard. So select whatever you want to copy and then on the keyboard hold down Command + C. That will copy it to the clipboard. Go to your destination then hold down Command + V. That will paste it into your destination. I’m going to show you how to cut and paste on a Mac. So if you want to just move it, if you want to move a file instead of copying and pasting then going back and deleting it you just do the same thing. You hit Command + C on whatever you want to move. Go to your destination and hold down Command + Option + V. That will actually move it to the destination instead of just copying it. It’ll actually move it so now when you go back to the old location it’s not there anymore. So those are complete beginner tips for Mac users. Hope this helped you out!
This video is going to show you how to convert nearly any video file on your Windows computer. So if you want to convert MP4 to MP3 or MP4 to AVI or vice versa. Pretty much any video file that you want to convert this program will do it. This is WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe. This is one of my favorite video converting applications for Windows, and if you click the free download icon on your screen or the link in the description that will start an instant download of this program where you can try it out for free. The free version lets you convert videos up to 5 minutes in length. If you have longer videos than that you can go ahead and register for the full program at a special discount price.
Once you’ve clicked the link to download it, go ahead and install it on your computer then start WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe. This is the home screen right here, and I’m going to show you how to use it. To convert a video just go up to the top left and click the video icon. Okay it’ll bring up a browser window and just browse to whatever video that you want to convert. I got mine right here. This is a video I did. This is an MP4 video, and I want to convert this MP4 to MP3 so I’ll go ahead and select it and click “Open”.
It will load it into the program here. Here you can select from the output profile so you can convert the video to all kinds of different formats as you can see here. If you click on PC General video it gives you all the options here: MP4, AVI, WMV, all that good stuff. And you can even convert it to music which I’m going to do. I’m going to convert the MP4 to MP3 so I’ll choose Music then click the MP3 recommended option here. Then click OK. Here it is in my queue. It’s ready to be converted. So I have the MP4 ready to go to MP3 and down at the bottom you’ll see the destination folder, and this is the folder that the MP3 file will end up in after I convert it.
If you have more video files to convert you can repeat the same process and add more jobs to the queue and it will do it all in one batch. But for now I’m just going to do this one, and once you’re ready just go ahead and click this Run button. Okay now the conversion process has started. It’s really quick. It’s really fast. Okay now it’s done. I’ll click OK, and it automatically brings up the output folder where my converted file is. Here you can see that my video has been converted to this file if I double click on it, it is an MP3 file so if I double-click it will bring it up in iTunes because it is an MP3. And it will start playing and there you go. My MP4 video is now an MP3.
Again this program can convert almost any video file format. It also has some extra features as well. You can actually, has a YouTube downloader that you can download YouTube videos. It has a photo slideshow maker which is pretty cool. So it’s not just a video converting application, it has all these other cool features as well. Definitely a recommended application by me. Enjoy!
This is my review over the Kynez Cazlet all-in-one iPhone wallet case for the iPhone 5 and 5s. The outside is made from nice leather. It feels soft and velvety. It comes in 3 different shades of brown. It has a full zipper that encloses all your belongings on the inside. The zipper is self-locking so once you zip it all the way up it snaps back and prevents it from being unzipped accidentally, which is a pretty nice feature On the inside it has compartments for all your credit cards, ID cards, money, and it even has compartments for small accessories. It also comes with a neat smudge cleaning cloth that cleans smudges off your phone. In the large compartment you will see it has a clear flap for your ID cards so it’s easy for scanning. It also comes with a SIM eject tool. On the other side it has no compartments because that is where the back of the iPhone will be. It also has a convenient loop.
I’m going to put my iPhone 5s in here and show you what it looks like. It slides right in there very easily from the bottom. It has a nice, precise fit to it. It has cut outs for the screen, the new Touch ID home button, front facing camera, and headset. It has orange indicators on the side and top for the power and volume buttons. The power button is definitely harder to press from the outside of the case compared to the volume buttons on the side, but you do have access to it. The Cazlet offers pretty decent protection for the iPhone. The iPhone is stuck in there pretty well even though it does have a little opening at the bottom. It offers impact resistance on the sides and corners of the wallet. Overall it does protect your iPhone pretty well. The only downside about this case is that it smells pretty weird. I don’t like the smell of leather, and with this leather exterior right out of the box it does smell like that leather. But hey, if you like the smell of leather then I guess that’s a plus. That’s my review of the Kynez Cazlet!
This is my full Blue Snowball microphone review video. The Blue Snowball is probably the best entry-level USB microphone that you can get for the money. It has a very nice clean sound. This is the closest you’re going to get to professional studio sound quality for the value. The build quality is very solid. I’ve had mine for over 4 years now. It’s suffered many drops, and it still works perfectly. I’ve never had a problem with it so far.
This nice little tripod stand is included in the box with the Blue Snowball microphone along with a sturdy USB cable. The tripod stand has 3 adjustable legs. The Blue Snowball itself does not take up very much room at all. It is conveniently compact. You do have the ability to take the Blue Snowball microphone off of the tripod stand if you need to put it onto another microphone holder. Another great feature about this microphone is it’s very easy to use. There’s no software required. It’s plug-n-play. All you do is plug the USB cable into your computer and then plug the other end into the back of the Blue Snowball microphone and you are ready to record. It’s compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, and Mac OS X.
There is no power button on the Blue Snowball. Once you plug it into your computer it receives its power through the USB cable. The front red light will turn on when it is powered up. On the back of the microphone you will see that it has 3 different settings, and I will go over what those settings are and how they sound. Setting 1 is the cardioid mode which is mainly used for podcasts, vocals, vocal singing, voiceovers, and commentaries. It’s suited for whenever you’re speaking directly in front of the microphone.
Setting 2 is a cardioid mode with a -10 dB pad which means it captures louder sounds while keeping the quality. If you’re recording something loud, such as loud music or live instruments, then this is the setting that you want to use. Setting 3 is the omni-directional mode which picks up sound equally from all directions. This is best if you want to capture all the noise in a room, especially if you want to pick up all the background and ambient noises. This is suited for interviews, conferences, or nature settings.
The only downside about this microphone that I found was the recording level. It’s quite low when recording into this microphone. You have to be close to the microphone for it to pick up that nice sound quality from your voice. Even with the input control turned almost all the way up on the computer, you still have to be close to the microphone for it to pick up a rich sound quality of your voice. Since you do have to be so close to the microphone when recording into it I recommend putting a pop filter on the Blue Snowball. It’s not completely necessary, but for only $13 it’s worth it to get the absolute best quality possible.
When you’re talking into the Blue Snowball on setting 1 it does a great job of eliminating the unwanted background noise. That wraps up my review of the Blue Snowball microphone. Overall it’s a highly recommended product by me. It’s definitely something you want to get if you’re creating any type of content online such as YouTube videos or sound recordings.
In this video I’ll show you how to clean up your iTunes library. We all know how hard it is to keep your iTunes library organized with all the correct song, artist, and genre information especially when you have hundreds and even thousands of songs in your iTunes music library. It’s nearly impossible to do that manually. That’s why you need an application like Neat Music to clean up your iTunes library. This program uses intelligent music recognition to complete missing artist, track, album, and genre information for your songs. It corrects “untitled” or “unknown” track info. It adds missing album artwork, groups scattered album songs, and organizes all your music for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod.
First, click the link at top of this description. That link will take you directly to the free download page for Neat Music, which works on Windows PC computers. You can try this application out for free. It’ll fix up to 100 songs in your iTunes library with the free version. If you have more than 100 songs in your iTunes you can buy the unlimited version at a special discounted price so you can fix your entire iTunes library. Once you download it, install it on your computer. Then open up iTunes and open up the Neat Music application.
It gives you a preview of your iTunes library at the bottom. As you can see if I go back to my iTunes I have these songs that I have no information for. I have no idea what the song name, artist name, album, genre, year, etc. There’s no album artwork either so it would take me forever to do this manually, but with Neat Music it does it automatically for me.
With Neat Music you can select all the songs in your library and click the Identity button. That will identify all the song info. It’s very fast and only takes about one second per song to get the information. Once it’s done you’ll see this red icon for success, and you can click on each song and it gives you a little preview of what info it has found for that song. To save that information in your iTunes just select the songs and click the Save button. It’ll import all the information into your iTunes, cleaning it up automatically with all the correct track names, artist names, album names, etc.
Neat Music also gives you the ability to get all the album artwork. Click the Get Album Art tab at the top, and it gives a list of albums in your library. Select all the albums then click Get Album Art. It gives you the standard album artwork. It also gives you high quality versions. I usually just go with the standard so double click that and it’ll import it into iTunes. Go back into iTunes, and you’ll see now it has all the correct song information, the correct album information, the album artwork – everything. It did it within just a few seconds. That is how to clean up your iTunes library automatically, quickly, and easily. That’s with the program called Neat Music. You can download the free trial version with the link at the top of this description. Enjoy!
