Ailet Clear Minimalist iPhone 5/5s Case Review

This is the Ailet clear minimalist case for the iPhone 5s & iPhone 5. Currently this case has a perfect 5 star rating on Amazon. It’s very affordable. Let’s get right into this review. First thing you notice is how crystal clear this thing is. It’s a very nice looking case if you want to show off your iPhone. So it’s very elegant in that way. I love clear cases. Also I love the compact and minimalist design. It’s very flexible. It’s slim. It’s a snug fit and offers good protection. I love that it does have some of the features that a bigger case would have as far as lay-on-the-table protection goes. It has all the precise cut outs for the ports. It looks very good on the iPhone 5s. I’m going to put my iPhone 5s on this case and let you see what it looks like. It goes on there easily. This is the Ailet minimalist case on the iPhone 5s. Let’s go over some of the features. First of all you see how clear it is. You can see everything on the iPhone. That’s what I love about this. I actually had a Belkin clear case for my iPhone 4S a couple years ago that had some discoloration after using it for 2 years. But this case I can tell it’s made from a different material, and I can tell that it probably won’t discolor. It’s very clear, and I don’t think it’ll discolor during any of the 2 years that you use this iPhone case. Okay so let’s look at the cut outs here. It has a cut out for the flash and camera. It has cut outs on the bottom for the headphone jack, speakers, lightning connector, and microphone. The Ailet logo is down near the bottom on the side. On the top it does have protection for the power button, and on the side it has protection for the volume buttons. It has a cut out for the vibrate switch. The volume buttons are very easy to press, and it does have responsive feedback on the buttons. So you can feel the volumes the volume buttons press down whenever you press them. You can hear it click. The top is not as responsive as the volume buttons. It’s easy to press, but you don’t feel that responsive feedback as much as when you do when you press the volume buttons. So just keep that in mind. This case is made of a very lightweight smooth rubbery flexible type material, but it does offer good protection for how small and compact it is. So you can drop your phone. You really don’t have to worry about it. It’s going to handle drops and scratches very well, and it does have that lay on the table protection. It protects the surface so I can lay it down on a table. It’s not going to affect my screen. As you can see it is very clear. It’s crystal clear. If you’re looking for a clear case this is definitely a case that you should check out. Sometimes it does get stuck on the back. You can see where the inside of the case is touching the back and kind of sticks to it and makes it a little darker. If I pull the case back it goes away. That’s not really an issue but just keep that in mind if you if you see that little black spot that’s because your case is sticking to the back of your iPhone. Other than that it looks really good on the iPhone 5s. So if you’re looking for a very sleek slim crystal clear iPhone 5s or iPhone 5 case, this is a very nice case to have. This is the Fliptroniks Black Panther leather wallet case for the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s. Currently this case has a perfect 5 star rating on Amazon. This is the black panther model of this case. It’s just made of 100% high quality genuine leather. It’s hand stitched. And the top here, the front, you can see that it has some padding to it and under that padding is a hard cover. And then on the back there is no padding. It’s just that hard plastic there. So on the front it does have padding, on the back it’s just hard. But it does have this nice soft feel to it from the leather. It feels like a real high quality leather coat that you’d buy at the mall. It really does feel really soft and nice. This wallet case does come with a flap, a magnetic flap that will automatically snap shut and keep that front closed whenever you close the wallet. So your phone and your credit card or money are secure in there. So let’s open this flap I’m going to show you the inside. The inside has the built-in hard polycarbonate iPhone 5s & iPhone 5 case built right into the inside there. It has a nice soft rubber feel to this case but it’s hard and protective. Okay and on the other side the interior on the other side is made of microfiber. Really soft microfiber interior. There’s not much to this case at all. It’s not very fancy. It’s very simple & minimalistic. That’s why I love this case. On this side you got the dual pockets for your ID cards, your credit cards, and other personal items if you want to put some in there. Then you got the big flap here. It’s very tight so your money is secure. You can put your cash in there, in this big slot or you can choose to put whatever you want in there. But it does secure it because it’s a tight squeeze. That was a quick overview of the inside and outside of the Fliptroniks black panther leather wallet case for the iPhone 5 & iPhone 5s.  we’re going to put my iPhone 5s in here and I’m going to show you how it looks. It pops right in and goes in there nicely and securely. Once it’s in there it is not coming out. It’s difficult to pop your iPhone back out of it, but you k that it’s secure when it’s in there. Let’s go over the protection and the features of this case. The side right there does have cutouts for the volume buttons and the vibrate switch right there. So you do have access to those. Also it does provide 4 corner protection for the iPhone. It covers all four corners. The top does have a big cut out, and you do have access to your power switch there. At the bottom you do have access to the headphones jack, microphone, lightning connector, and speakers. The other side is completely protected. When my iPhone is in this case I do feel very confident that it will protect it from any fall and scratches. It’s very much protected when your iPhone is in there. Very secure tight fit. That magnetic lock also helps so it’s going to protect your iPhone for sure. Obviously the wallet feature of this phone makes it hard to talk on the phone. So if you’re holding this up to your face this side will get in the way. Keep that in mind. I don’t really talk on the phone that much so it’s not really a problem for me. Also this flap will get in the way when you’re 2-handing texting & typing. It gets in the way of your left thumb there, but if you have long thumbs like me it doesn’t affect you. Also this cover here acts as a privacy shield. It’s an accidental feature of this wallet case. So if you’re in public and you don’t want the creepy guy to the left like looking at what you’re doing on your phone, this blocks him from seeing that. It’s an accidental feature but there nonetheless. Also this wallet case can stand up on its own. It’s sturdy enough to stand up the iPhone in an upright position. If you want to set your phone up it’s sturdy enough to do that. Overall this is probably the best wallet case that you can get for your iPhone. If you’re looking to consolidate your wallet and your case and have just carry one thing out, if you’re going out at night and you want to just carry one thing or you don’t want to take a lot of stuff in your pockets this is a good case to have because it is minimalistic. It’s very compact. It’s not bulky at all. It doesn’t take up much room. If you want to wear your skinny jeans out then you can. This fit into my jean pockets easily and isn’t bulky. That’s what I love about this. It’s high quality. I love the leather feel. It has cutouts for the camera & flash so you don’t have to worry about that. Overall a fantastic wallet case for your iPhone 5 & iPhone 5s. Super good protection and it looks good as well.

My official Sound BlasterAxx AXX 200 review. The AXX 200 is an intelligent wireless sound system by Creative. It comes with a USB cable, charger, and a quick start guide. It’s mainly a Bluetooth wireless speaker with built-in microphones and a quad core processor inside of it. It has a sleek, hexagon design. It’s portable but very powerful.

It has a touch sensitive control panel that has backlit controls. It has 2 speakers and microphones built into the front. There is a battery level indicator at the bottom. The bottom is made of a rubber base for stable support. The back is made of high quality plastic. It has a nice 360° voice pick-up microphone. It has Bluetooth and NFC capability for wireless connectivity. On the back, there is the power button, a play/pause button, a next/previous button, a record button for when you’re recording your voice, and it has a play/pause button for those recordings. There is a mic on/mute button and the shuffle/repeat button. The megaphone switch enables the microphones for the megaphone feature. There is a port tube for enhanced bass. There is a micro SD card slot where you can put up to a 32 GB micro SD card for music playback and to store voice recordings. It has a USB port to charge a smart phone or tablet. It has a headphones jack, and it has an aux-in/mic-in jack to plug in an aux cable or microphone. There’s a micro USB port on the bottom to connect the AXX 200 to its charger or to a computer.

The SBX button enables pro studio intelligent audio processing which enhances the audio. There is a call button to call people from your phone, which also enables the voice assistant on your device. The middle of the touch panel is the master volume scroll bar. There are 4 ways to play music through the Sound BlasterAxx AXX 200. One is wireless connectivity through Bluetooth or NFC. Another way to play audio is to connect a device using the aux-in port. Another way is to use the USB connection to connect it to a USB port on your computer. The final way is to play audio through a micro SD card and use it as a standalone MP3 player.

The battery life on the AXX 200 is very good. It lasted almost 13 hours on a single charge just playing music over the Bluetooth connection. There’s a docking base that you can purchase separately that makes charging more convenient. It’s not necessary, but it makes charging more convenient. The calling features worked really well. You can answer your phone through the AXX 200 when you’re connected through the Bluetooth connection. The quad microphones in the AXX 200 make this a nice device for calling.

Not only is it a sound system, but it also has great entertainment purpose. It has a super megaphone feature and when enabled, you can speak into the rear microphone and it will megaphone your voice. But the really fun things about this are the voice effects that you can apply to your voice when you’re speaking into the microphone with the megaphone feature.

Another cool thing about the megaphone feature is you can be playing music at the same time that you’re talking into the microphone, and you can use it as a karaoke machine. If you have a micro SD card in the back of the AXX 200, you can make recordings of your voice. Probably the craziest feature about the AXX 200 is the loud siren. If you’re using it to scare burglars, it just might work because it gets so loud.

The Sound BlasterAxx AXX 200 does come with its own free mobile apps for Android and iOS. You can use these apps to change the different profiles of the audio. You can enable different features. You can use it as a remote control. It also gives you more voice effects. It also comes with equivalent software for Mac and Windows. The AXX 200 is very simple to use. It can play music anywhere, and it has good range.

The audio quality of the AXX 200 is very good. It will fill up my whole room. It has nice, rich bass, along with surround sound quality. For such a small device, it does give out some very powerful high quality audio especially with the SBX feature. The simplicity of the device along with the high quality audio that it pushes out really makes this an excellent device for anybody with a smart phone or tablet. The portability also is a huge plus. It’s super portable and light. It also looks good anywhere.

The AXX 200 is an awesomely fun and entertaining device. It’s very useful and portable and something that every smart phone or tablet user would love to have. It is highly recommended by me. That’s my review of the Sound BlasterAxx AXX 200 intelligent wireless sound system!

How to Copy DVD to DVD – Make Exact Copies of DVD Movies

In today’s video I will be showing you how to copy a DVD to a DVD using Aimersoft DVD Copy. So this is a program that can pretty much copy any DVD movie to a blank DVD disc so it can make an exact duplicate copy of your DVD movies. This program is for Windows computers so if you’re on a Windows computer right now go ahead and click the free download link on your screen or the link in the description. That will start an instant download of this program, and you can try it out for free. So click the link and it will start the download. Once the download is complete it will end up in your downloads folder on your computer. Go to your Downloads folder then double-click on the icon to run and install it. You can go ahead and buy the full version to you copy unlimited DVDs or you can try it out for free. It has a free trial so if you don’t want to buy it now you can just hit the free trial button. It’s really easy to use. First thing you want to do is insert the movie into your DVD drive on your computer and then select it on the source. Select your DVD drive, and once you select it on the source you should see the DVD movie name right there. I have Superbad inserted in mine. So I got, I’m going to copy the Superbad DVD movie, and then the target folder is where it’s going to copy onto your computer temporarily. And then once it’s copied to your computer you can burn it to a disc. Okay so and then the output type you want to choose DVD 5. That’s really important because you want to be able to burn it to a normal DVD-R disc, a blank DVD+R disc so choose DVD 5 in the output type. In the copy mode it has a couple different options here. You can select to copy the whole movie or just the main movie with the menu or main movie without the menu. Okay I just want to copy the main movie without the menu. You can choose whatever whatever you’d like. I’m just going to choose main movie without menu, and then once you’re ready double check your settings. And then all you have to do is click the start button. It will start the copy process. Now depending on your computer speed it will take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Mine is going to take about 45 minutes to copy a regular DVD movie. Okay so once the copy is complete it will automatically open up the Windows folder, and here is the Superbad folder. And if you double-click into the movie folder you’ll see this Video_TS folder and then right-click and send to DVD drive. That’s one way to burn it to a DVD. It’s going to ask you to insert a blank disc. Another way to do it, another way to burn it to a disc is just select the VIDEO_TS folder and then if you’re on Windows 7 you see the burn button right there on the top menu bar. Just hit that, and it will ask you to insert your blank DVD disc. So now all you have to do is just insert your blank DVD disc. It can be a DVD-R or DVD-RW depending on what your computer can write to, and once the burning process is complete you will have an exact duplicate copy of your movie. So that’s how to copy a DVD to a DVD. The easiest way to copy a DVD movie to a blank DVD disc.

What is 4K? Beginner’s Guide to 4K

In this video I’m going to explain what 4K is in this 4K edition episode of “What Is”. 4K seems to be the craze lately in the tech world. I was kind of confused at first, so I got myself familiar with it, looked into it, and now I’m here to explain what it is and what it means to us as consumers. 4K is basically the name for the new standardized high definition resolution for displays. 4K gets its name from the amount of pixels horizontally on the resolution. It has roughly 4,000 pixels horizontally and 2,000 pixels vertically. HD displays have an aspect ratio of 16:9. Basic HD is 720p. 720p has a resolution of 1280×720 — so 1280 pixels horizontally and 720 pixels vertically.

We also have 1080 full HD. Full HD means 1080p. That’s kind of the standard that you see on monitors and TVs these days. Almost everyone has one. If you go out and buy a new HD television right now, it’s most likely full HD 1080p. 1080p is actually 1920 x 1080 pixels tall. Did you think that it would stop there at 1080p? No siree! So the next step up is… 4K! 4K is the next step up after 1080p. 4K is now the next high definition resolution standard for mass market displays. Why is it called 4K? 4K is named after its horizontal pixels because 4K is roughly 4,000 pixels wide by 2,000 pixels high.

So what does that mean for us, the consumers? Well, when go out to buy TVs and monitors, you will start seeing these ultra HD 4K displays. That’s the name. So when you see “ultra HD” that’s the same thing as 4K. That’s the standardized 16:9 display that you’ll see in monitors and TVs. And the exact pixels for 4K ultra HD are actually 3,840 pixels wide by 2,160 pixels high. 4K is twice the width of 1080p and twice the height of 1080p, which makes it 4 times larger than 1080p! A full HD 1080p resolution has roughly 2 million pixels compared to a 4K which has roughly 8 million pixels. That’s a lot of pixels. I’ve never seen a 4K TV live, but I’ve seen other people see it for themselves and I felt the excitement in the room. I could feel my own head exploding.

So what’s so special about 4K? Well, the name says it itself. It’s ultra high definition. It’s four times as high-def as 1080p. And they say it’s like when you’re looking at a 4K display, it’s like looking out a window. You get that much detail, that much sharpness, and the image quality is just so crisp, it’s like looking at a window, which I’m so excited for. And that’s why everybody is so crazy about it. That’s what’s so good about 4K. So now you know what 4K is. It’s called ultra high-definition. It’s the next step up after full HD 1080p, and you’re going to be seeing it come out in monitors and TVs. They’re already selling TVs like this, but really the content is not there. They’re not broadcasting 4K over the air and TV shows and movies yet. It’s all being filmed. It’s actually going to it. They’re starting to record everything in 4K if they haven’t already, but you’ll start seeing content publishers like Netflix and YouTube and anything streaming in 2014, you will start to see them start pushing 4K content out and the people that will be able to see it will be the people who have 4K monitors and televisions and stuff like that.

So if you want to be one of the pioneers of 4K content coming in, then the next TV that you go out and buy, I would definitely recommend picking up a 4K TV if you can. I wouldn’t go out and just buy one right now just because it’s out. The only person that should go out and buy one is if you’re in the market for one. If you’re going to buy a new TV even if 4K wasn’t around because 2014 is supposed to be the year when 4K starts making its way into the mass market. Bottom line, 4K is the new amazing resolution standard for HD displays, and you will start seeing it come in more and more. Hopefully, more content creators will get their hands on 4K cameras and start getting 4K content out there. Then everyone will start getting their hands on 4K and make the price go down lower, so everybody can get their hands on some 4K action. So I hope you’re as excited as I am about 4K!
